Cellphone etiquette
Guess whose cellphone went off DURING the funeral service for Rod Donald? Guess who ignored two polite requests to "please turn your cellphones off".

Peter Dunne. Despite his moralising about families, Peter clearly lacks respect for them.

eejit - have posted about it so that it hopefully gets passed around and everyone finds it!
a nice little scoop joe
Oh that's terrible. I would have thought he could have turned it off the first time it happened!
Thx Maria :)
Aaron - its my understanding Peter's phone only rang once - but my source was very clear that those present were politely reminded twice to ensure cellphones were turned off (told as a group I assume)
What a total and utter cock! (Not that that is a recently formed opinion of the man - it's just another log on the fire, really).
Ah - I see now. Still, no excuse. I don't know anyone who would even take a phone into funeral, much less need to be reminded to turn it off.
Exactly Aaron. I myself check my phone at least 137 times before such an occasion to ensure it's off. Once is bad enough.
Just confirms my assessment of him as a complete cock.
Good scoop, Joe. It should be in the papers.
Jesus Christ that man is so offensive. Thanks Joe, I actually thought I'd reached the pinacle of dislike for that man, but I was wrong.
