Cellphone etiquette

Guess whose cellphone went off DURING the funeral service for Rod Donald? Guess who ignored two polite requests to "please turn your cellphones off".

Peter Dunne. Despite his moralising about families, Peter clearly lacks respect for them.

Oh that's terrible. I would have thought he could have turned it off the first time it happened!

Thx Maria :)

Aaron - its my understanding Peter's phone only rang once - but my source was very clear that those present were politely reminded twice to ensure cellphones were turned off (told as a group I assume)

What a total and utter cock! (Not that that is a recently formed opinion of the man - it's just another log on the fire, really).

Ah - I see now. Still, no excuse. I don't know anyone who would even take a phone into funeral, much less need to be reminded to turn it off.

Exactly Aaron. I myself check my phone at least 137 times before such an occasion to ensure it's off. Once is bad enough.

Lucky it was not in ireland where the craze just now is to bury the dearly beloved's cellphone with him. Its a bit of a bugger when they forget to turn that one off.

Just confirms my assessment of him as a complete cock.

Good scoop, Joe. It should be in the papers.

Jesus Christ that man is so offensive. Thanks Joe, I actually thought I'd reached the pinacle of dislike for that man, but I was wrong.

That Peter Dunne was even at the funeral seems offensive, considering the malice, personal attacks and lies with which he treats the Greens.
Rod's opposite in parliament.
